    Like all of the British Isles, the English Climate is endlessly changing throughout the year and differs depending on which part of the country you are travelling to. The western areas of England, closest to the Atlantic Ocean, are usually the mildest and tend to have windier, wetter weather. The colder periods normally occur between December and February. During the summer months (June to August) the temperature can range from 10 °C to 25 °C, with the warmest weather usually in the south east, in and around London. During these months rainfall usually occurs in southern, eastern and central regions due to localised thunderstorms.
