Balcomie Course overview

The Balcomie Links at Crail is the oldest of the two courses with the 18-hole design completed by the legendary Old Tom Morris in 1900 after originally opening as a 9-hole course in 1895. Of modest length by today’s standards, there is no doubt the course still poses a challenge to all golfers, particularly when the North Sea winds blow.

The opening holes follow the shore before turning inland for the next 9-holes. Whilst not as eye-catching as the opening, this stretch is still very enjoyable before you complete the round alongside the shoreline once more.
