The PGA Centenary course at Gleneagles is a fabulous Jack Nicklaus designed golf course and with five tee positions available the course is truly worthy of its Championship status. Opened in 1993 it is considered a modern classic and the golf course is already considered as one of the very best in the area and Scotland. Having recently hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup, which featured stars from Europe and USA, the course is a challenging but magnificent layout and offers visitors the chance to follow in the footsteps of a number of the games current greats.

As opposed to a number of the championship courses in Scotland, the PGA Centenary course at Gleneagles is a heathland course. The course is set amongst great surroundings and offers stunning views of the mountains above the Trossachs and panoramic sights of the Scottish countryside. The signature 5th hole is a great test of golf and requires a tough drive and can be extremely difficult if the wind is against you. Overall, there is not a better and more traditional layout in Scotland and the PGA Centenary Course is a must play when on a golf vacation to Scotland.

The above is in addition to a practice area and putting green.
