Average weather graph for West Coast Scotland

Although the west of Scotland benefits from a Gulf Stream warming the Atlantic breezes allowing for some warmer weather at times, the west coast of Scotland can be slightly wetter than that of the east. With this milder yet wetter weather, your best chances of fine weather are in May, June and September; although July and August can be warm, they can also be wetter. As the old Scottish saying goes, "there's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!”
