Situated 20 miles north of Scottsdale and set on 1,300 acres of virtually untouched landscape in the foothills of the Sonoran Desert, the five-star Boulders Resort & Spa is a luxurious getaway.
The dramatic architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding desert and 12 million-year-old boulder formations. With just over 200 rooms designed in a classic southwestern style, the resort also boasts two onsite golf courses (the North and the South), several restaurants, a spa, and numerous onsite activities.
Golf Courses
Set in the foothills of the stunning Sonoran Desert, the Boulders Club features two courses, the North Course and the South Course, which are classic desert-style layouts that provide spectacular views of the magnificent landscape and the stunning boulder formations.
Accommodation
Boulders Resort & Spa offers just over 200 guestrooms, each featuring classic southwestern décor with wood-burning fireplaces and natural stone showers. Guests can choose between 550 sq. ft. private casitas with a private balcony as well as one, two, and three-bedroom villas. Room amenities include HDTVs, luxurious bedding, walk-in closets, and a coffee maker.
Restaurant & Bars
Whether it be a quick snack or an evening meal, the resort caters to all with several dining options. Palo Verde is a naturally lit restaurant offering magnificent views over the sixth fairway of the South Course. A mixture of classic favorites and Southwestern cuisine served here are complemented by a sophisticated and relaxing experience. Other options include The Grill Restaurant, Discovery Lounge, the Spotted Donkey Cantina, and Bogeys.
Spa & Leisure
Boulders Resort & Spa offers a 33,000 sq. ft. spa with 24 treatment rooms and a long list of services available such as massages and body treatments. There is also a 2000 sq. ft. fitness center equipped with a variety of free weights and cardiovascular equipment. The fitness center also offers offsite adventure activities like boulder climbing and scenic guided hikes.

Boulders Resort & Spa is located 20 miles north of downtown Scottsdale and just over 30 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
On Site Activities
Away from the golf courses, there are four outdoor swimming pools, several tennis courts, and numerous onsite recreational activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and bicycle tours.
Golf courses at Boulders Resort & Spa
South Course
Despite being the newer of the two courses at Boulders Resort & Spa, many find the South Course to be more scenic as it plays right up to the giant boulder formations the area is known for. Golfers will be treated to views of the surrounding mountains and native wildlife throughout their round. The luscious fairways provide a contrast to the desert and are narrow, typical for desert-style golf, rewarding precision and accuracy over length.
North Course
The older of the two courses at Boulders Resort & Spa, the North Course offers golfers consistent views of the stunning Black Mountain as the course winds through the community. Slightly longer than the South Course at 6959 yards, golfers will experience amazing views of the local desert landscape and natural flora and fauna during their round. In true desert-golf fashion, the fairways are narrow, so precision and strategy are necessary to score well.
