Accommodation

The 5* Resort Hotel at the Celtic Manor opened in 1999, boasting 330 newly refurbished bedrooms that provide a sense of tradition and luxury. In contrast, the Manor House Hotel was built long before the Resort hotel in the 19th Century. The 65-room hotel was once a maternity hospital and features recently refurbished, stylish bedrooms set in beautifully designed landscaped gardens.

Providing stunning views over The Twenty Ten Golf Course, the Hunter Lodges are a great addition to The Celtic Manor Resort. Each lodge can accommodate eight golfers and come equipped with luxury en-suite bedrooms, a hot tub and plenty of space!

Restaurant & Bars

With seven restaurants and an array of bars, guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating well. Within the 5-star resort hotel, there is The Olive Tree with its spectacular buffet, and award-winning signature sixth-floor restaurant, Steak on Six.

Additionally, at the 4-star Manor House, you will find Cen, serving delicious Asian-inspired cuisine. In the Manor House guests also have the option of the Cellar Bar, an atmospheric sports bar with wide screen televisions and a delicious bar menu. For a change of scene, choose from The Grill overlooking the Roman Road course, or award-winning Rafters at The Twenty Ten Clubhouse.

A few miles upstream in a picturesque spot on the river is the 2 AA Rosette Newbridge on Usk, where diners can enjoy the delicious locally-inspired country fare.

There are a wide range of activities for guests to choose from if the excellent golfing facilities weren’t already enough. Golf courses at Celtic Manor

Roman Road Course

Designed by legendary course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, the Roman Road is the oldest and probably the most natural course located at the world-renowned Celtic Manor Resort. Over the years the entire resort has earned a name for itself in terms of quality and customer service, and the Roman Road Course is no different. With breath-taking views across the Severn Estuary and Somerset, this course is a great addition to your next golf trip.

Twenty Ten Course

A round of golf on any of the golf courses at The Celtic Manor Resort is guaranteed to be an exciting one and a great test for all golfers. Not only is The Celtic Manor home to the superb Twenty Ten Ryder Cup golf course, but it also boasts other stunning championship golf courses which each hold a different challenge to suit all types of golfer.

Montgomerie Course

Designed by Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie, the first and last holes of this challenging par 69 parkland golf course were based on the foundation of the original Wentwood Hills golf course, with the land from the old Coldra Woods Academy course being used to construct the fascinating layout of The Montgomerie. Featuring deep pot bunkering and some tricky greenside swales, this golf course has plenty of natural hazards and an “inland links” feel to it
