27 holes. Traditional 18 comprised of the Chavon & Marina nines. Newest is the Lagos. Par 72. 7,770 yards.
Dye Fore, Pete Dye’s most recent design at the ever popular Casa de Campo, has garnered well-deserved praise since its inception in 2002. This breathtaking 27 – hole venue boasts three nine hole loops that share views of the Chavon River, Casa de Campo Marina, Caribbean Sea, and the Dominican mountains. The original 18 is a fantastic championship layout that measures in at a monstrous 7,770 yards. Far and away the longest layout at the resort, it demands that all golfers also contend with prevailing trade winds and elevation changes on both tee and approach shots. With this in mind, Dye designed the course with wider fairways and more forgiving greens, aiming to make this a challenging but fair test of golf.
Whether you’re standing on the 4th or 5th tee on the Marina nine perched atop the hill starring down over the Casa de Campo marina, or you’re carefully navigating the cliffs edge on the Chavon nine, the views here will captivate your eye and claim any wayward shots. As for the 12th and 15th… considered to be two of the best one-shotters in the Caribbean, the gusting winds and carries over the ravines creates an incredible final challenge for golfers at any level.
