  • Utilizing the Sea of Cortez, deep arroyos, towering cacti, and the rolling hills native to the land, Jack Nicklaus managed to design and create the famous 27-hole venue that is Palmilla Golf Club. Comprised of three equally challenging nines, Palmilla is widely recognized as the “Grand Dame" of Los Cabos golf. Known for being Nicklaus’ first creation in Latin America, The Mountain Course, The Ocean Course, and The Arroyo Course can be played in any combination to offer a unique experience that will prove as challenging as it is delightful.

The Ocean Course, stretching to 3,527 yards from the championship tees, features 600 feet of elevation change within the first six holes, traversing the local terrain to pose a constant blend of uphill and downhill shots. As you meticulously navigate each hole, you’re greeted, on the 3rd, by the Sea of Cortez. The endless blue ocean just feet from the green captivates your gaze and encapsulates the true beauty of Cabo.

Known for being the longest nine Palmilla has to offer, the Mountain Course is 3,602 yards from the tips, and utilizes an impressive water reservoir on the fourth and fifth to protect its inland holes. Flawless greens and undulating fairways are seemingly carved out of native vegetation and framed by mountains and blue sky. The 470-yard 3rd, for example, leads you up a hill to an ample driving area, where you’re forced to hit a second shot with a daunting peak as your backdrop.

The shorter Arroyo Course, totaling 3,337 yards, is known for its forced carries over canyons and towering cacti that line both fairway and green. Perched high above the sea below, doglegs, expansive waste areas, and rippling topography call for every club in your bag to be used with precision and confidence.

If the aforementioned characteristics do not sound enticing enough, daily trade winds serve to enhance pinpoint accuracy and challenge even the most accomplished of players. Five sets of staggered tee boxes, pristine course conditions, and spectacular views are the calling cards for Palmilla Golf Club, fortifying its reputation as the best of Cabo golf in Los Cabos.
