Perched above the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean is the stunning Lodge at Torrey Pines, a AAA Five Diamond resort. Located just north of San Diego, California, this luxurious property sits adjacent to the world-renowned Torrey Pines golf courses including the famed South Course, which has hosted some of the game’s biggest championships. The Lodge has 170 rooms available ranging from luxurious guestrooms to spacious suites.
There are two dining options onsite and each offers an exceptional and unique experience. Outside of golf, guests can indulge themselves at the spa, utilize the heated swimming pool, or go on a guided hiking tour at the scenic Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Golf Courses
The Lodge at Torrey Pines is home to two championship golf courses. The South Course has hosted some of the game’s biggest championships and is a bucket-list venue for players around the world. The North Course is an incredible ‘second’ option for players to utilize and offers picturesque views and tour-level conditions.
Accommodation
The Lodge at Torrey Pines has 170 rooms available ranging from the entry-level Signature Room through to a variety of luxury suites. Each feature amenities such as a TV, coffee maker, signature toiletries and turndown service.
The hotel rooms span from 500 sq. ft to 1500 sq. ft and offer guests the choice of a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. The marble bathrooms, Craftsman accents and hardwoods give the rooms a lavish yet quaint feel. The suites come in a variety of different sizes and bedding will depend on which unit you select.

Valentien’ is The Lodge’s signature restaurant and features regional cuisine in an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. ‘The Grill at Torrey Pines’ offers wood-fired dishes and locally crafted beers in a more laid-back environment. Both restaurants have outdoor dining available and provide picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and the famed Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Golf courses at The Lodge at Torrey Pines
North Course
The North Course at Torrey Pines is in La Jolla, CA, just north of San Diego. This visually stunning property plays 7258 yards from the back tees and has five tee boxes available. After undergoing renovations in 2016, the North Course removed several bunkers and expanded greens to offer a more playable layout. The front and back nine were also flipped so guests could enjoy the dazzling views of the Pacific Coastline to end their round.
South Course
The South Course at Torrey Pines is located just north of San Diego in La Jolla, CA. Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the South Course offers players stunning views. Measuring 7698 yards from the back tees, this is one of the most challenging and demanding venues in the country, as the ocean breeze and thick rough feature throughout. An annual stop on the PGA TOUR’s calendar and host to the 2008 and 2021 U.S. Open, the South is a true bucket-list experience.
