Golf Courses

Omni La Costa Resort has two fantastic courses onsite: Champions Course and Legends Course. The Champions Course was the first to be built on the property and is the longer of the two courses, recently redesigned it has generous fairways and deep bunkers. The Legends Course is a little tighter off the tee and you’ll be faced with undulating greens throughout the round.

There’s plenty of golfing history to be found at La Costa, for over 30 years the PGA TOUR came to the resort, each year using a composite of the two courses.

Legends Course

Packages from $785

The Legends Course at Omni La Costa is a more traditional parkland-style layout featuring many dogleg holes and narrow fairways. Accuracy and precision off the tee are key to a good round on this sub-7,000-yard course and the San Marcos Creek running through most of the holes and will catch any wayward shots. Much of the back-nine of the Legends Course was used by the PGA TOUR in building the composite course at La Costa for over 30 years of professional tournament play.

Champions Course

This par-72 links-style course was the first of the two to be built at Omni La Costa Resort. Golfers will find subtle elevation changes throughout the course with wide fairways and deep bunkers. Being situated in the foothills, the course offers mountainous views and plays firm and fast with open sightlines. La Costa was home to PGA TOUR events for over 30 years, using a composite of the two courses. Holes 1-3 and 13-18 on the Champions Course were part of the 18 holes used in TOUR events.
