Established in 1894, Royal St David’s Golf Club is one of the finest links courses in the world and is located in the superb natural setting of the Snowdonia National Park in north-west Wales. Not only is this one of the most beautiful settings within which to play golf, the site is overlooked by the magnificent yet ominous presence of the 13th century Harlech Castle, which adds to the landscape’s sense of drama.

Back to the golf course and St Davids golf club regularly hosts both National and International tournaments including amongst others the European Seniors Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Fast true greens and undulating fairways are the real challenges here although with its coastal location, expect the wind to play some part as well.

The clubhouse oozes tradition and history and is the perfect place to relax post round with inspiring panoramic views over the 18th green and dunes towards the shoreline.

A golf vacation to Wales wouldn’t be complete without playing at Royal St David’s Golf Club. Constantly featuring in the numerous Top 100 golf course rankings, including most recently voted in Golf Digest’s Top 100 golf courses outside the USA, this is the perfect links golf experience and a fantastic example of golf in Wales.
