  • 18 holes, par 71, 6225 yards. Links.

Located in 8 miles west of Swansea, Pennard Golf Club is an excellent course which follows a traditional links layout. Although the club was officially founded in 1908, golf in the area dates back to 1896, making it ones of the oldest courses in Wales’s history. Locals refer to Pennard as the links in the sky due to its links like grounds being 200 feet above sea level.

There are no easy or straightforward holes at this world-renowned golf course. Each hole possesses a new challenge and threat to your scorecard, ensuring that every club in the bag is needed. The rugged and undulating terrain means that awkward lies and stances are unavoidable, which poses a consistent threat throughout the round. Full of hummocks, hillocks and hollows, with large sand dunes to also contend with, this course is truly one of a kind and a must play for anyone looking to go on a golf vacation to the south of Wales.
